Jazz Up Your Shower Menu

Your shower menu can be comprised of anything from just punch and cake to a full sit-down menu. You can prepare the food yourself, have it catered, or if you’re having the shower in a restaurant, have it served there. It all depends on your budget, style, and energy.

A baby shower cake is the one menu item that seems to be on everyone’s list. You can bake it yourself, or buy it from a bakery. But once again, you may want to use some creativity and not serve a cake at all. Maybe your “Rubber Ducky” party will feature a serving tray of lemon bars cut out with a duck cookie cutter! Your formal shower may showcase a tower of chocolate dipped strawberries! No where is it written that a baby shower must have a cake.

In most cases, a few snacks, punch and cake will be quite sufficient.
