Shower Games Are Great Ice-breakers
Playing shower games are good ice breakers. You’ve probably invited people from different areas of the guest of honor’s life and it is unlikely that they all know each other. Some may only know the mommy-to-be. A competition gets everyone talking and laughing. And isn’t that what a party is all about?
Pick two to four games to play after everyone has arrived. Make sure you have pencil, paper or other supplies available for everyone, if needed. Some games don't really have a start or end time, but run the entire length of the shower. For more information on games, take a look here.
Awarding a prize to the winner is fun too. It doesn’t have to be expensive. It can come from the Dollar Store if you’re on a tight budget. Just wrap it in pretty paper and put a pretty bow on it. Of course, if the gifts that are given tend to fall on the more expensive side, prizes might be a bit more upscale too.
After you decide on shower games; time to look at favors
