Table with Centerpiece

You can use your dining room table, kitchen table, coffee table, buffet table, or whatever table you chose. This is where you will set the food. You should have a centerpiece that complements your shower theme, even if your theme is as simple as pink for a girl or blue for a boy. The centerpiece is really only limited by your creativity. Many people just use the shower cake as the centerpiece. That’s what I did when I gave my daughter a shower. You can also use streamers on the table in coordinating colors. A place for gifts

If the table you are using for food is large and your shower is small, you can use the same table as your food serving table. If using a separate table for gifts, decorate it to coordinate with your food table. This table doesn’t need to have a centerpiece because it will probably be covered in gifts. And it doesn’t even need to be a table. If you have a bassinet, cradle, or stroller, you can use it to load in the gifts. They can even spill out onto the floor.

Napkins and plates

Tableware is part of your baby shower decorations. Party supply stores sell cute coordinating napkins, paper plates, and cups in all sorts of baby shower designs. And if you can’t find a design that you like, just stick with the colors of your shower and get plain colored party ware.
So there you have it! The basics. Even if you do nothing else to decorate you’ll still have a great looking shower. But if you want to ramp it up a notch, just add one or two suggestions from the list of decorating ideas or add a cute centerpiece.
